Nomura Laboratory is looking for students who are interested in powders and powder-related processing. Students can learn about powder properties, powder flowability, functionalization of powders, sintering, functionally graded materials, and additive manufacturing, and so on, from development of new particles to their consolidation with characterization. Computer simulations are also conducted to understand powder flowability using discrete element method (DEM). If you are interested in learning more about powder itself or the latest metal powder processing, please contact us. We also welcome students from other universities and technical colleges, as well as international students.
