Research Outline

Komarov labratory was established in April, 2014. The main purpose of our research is to develop eco-friendly material processes to realize a sustainable society. To achieve this purpose, we are trying to break the barriers of traditional materials processing with the help of physical fields, such as ultrasonic processing of molten metals and high temperature exhaust gases, microwave heating and treatment of industrial waste, electromagnetic processing of metal and non-metal materials. Fundamental studies are performed to clarify the fluid dynamics, heat and mass transport phenomena in single and multiphase flows.
